Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, the famous Harlem Gospel Choir performs modern gospel standards as they are sung today in Harlem’s churches. Their talent has led them to share the stage with international stars such as Bono, Diana Ross, Pharrell Williams, and at the 2018 Grammy Awards with Sam Smith; they have also performed at official ceremonies for presidents including Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, and Nelson Mandela, as well as for Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI.

This time, the Harlem Gospel Choir presents “Magic of Motown”, a celebration of the iconic American label and the hits of its legendary artists: Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder.
