June (day to be set) at 20.50

duration: 2.35

‘Musiques en fête’, live from the Chorégies d’Orange, will be celebrating its tenth edition in June 2020.

This outstanding show that opens the Chorégies d’Orange has now become one of the musts of the season. It allows every year audiences in their tens of thousands at Orange’s Roman Theatre, plus millions of viewers of the television programme France 3, to discover or rediscover the greatest arias of opera or of musical comedy, but also great songs, ballets, traditional musics, etc.

In the splendid architectural setting of Orange’s Roman Theatre, young singers, but also great established voices, backed by more than two hundred orchestra musicians, choir artists and dancers, offer you an absolutely unique performance, both musically and visually.

Celebrating this anniversary edition will be, as ever, many of the artists faithful to the Chorégies d’Orange, together with younger representatives of the French and international opera scene.

‘Musique en fête’ was voted France’s preferred broadcast in 2014, and in 2017 was awarded the year’s best mark in France Télévisions’ quality survey (nine out of ten).

Invitations for the evening are offered first to the members of the ‘Association des Amis des Chorégies d’Orange’, as follows:

Individual Members: 2 seats

Couples: 4 seats

Benefactors: 4 seats (with VIP seating).

A reservation form is made available together with the membership card.

Reservation forms are to be returned, together with a stamped envelope, between 18th and 29th May 2020 (any forms received before or after said period, and forms without a stamped envelope, shall not be processed). Invitations are then sent out by mail in the order of reception of the reservation forms, subject to availability.

Any remaining seats, subject to availability, will be distributed on 9 June 2020, starting 10.00 a.m., at the ticket office of the Chorégies d’Orange (18, place Silvain) (said date may be changed).
